Connector is a detailed definition of a data consumption method. A connector has a name, to identify it in the ForwardKeys Connect platform; and a type, corresponding to the selected transfer method (Snowflake direct query, Azure storage Account, AWS S3: your own S3 bucket or ForwardKeys AWS bucket).
In case of cloud transfers, it defines the specific path to the directory to which the data files will be sent, email addresses that will receive delivery notifications and a set of permissions. For Snowflake, it indicates all the information you need to query our database directly.
Connection is the relation between a Connector and a custom or master view in ForwardKeys Connect. It indicates where the files based on a given view are delivered. It controls the history of all deliveries sent for a given view and their status.
Delivery is each of the data transfers to your cloud environment. We differentiate between the initial delivery of historical files and scheduled deliveries of new or refreshed data. Each delivery has a date and status.
